The upcoming historical drama Prithviraj is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, who fought the merciless invasion of Muhammad of Ghor. The film was initially slated to release on November 13, 2020, but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and Omicron. It will now be released on June 3, 2022.
The cast includes Akshay Kumar as the titular character, Manushi Chhillar as Sanyogita, and Sanjay Dutt as Samrat Chauhan’s trusted saamant Kaka Kanha.
